Sometimes when your hard disk space is full, then windows-xp will pop up a warning and it will recommend to run disk cleanup . Sometimes it is very irritating because the pop-up comes again and again. You can turn off disk clean up warning with a registry editor. Just do the following:
Run the Registry Editor
- click start->run type regedit (Enter)
- select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer.
- Create a DWORD value called NoLowDiskSpaceChecks and give it a value of 1.
- Exit the Registry and reboot
Please note: It is highly recommend that you do your disk clean up regularity. Otherwise this can slow down your computer performance.
